Buon Anno 2010
Siamo all’alba del primo giorno dell’anno è pace e silenzio dopo lo strepitio dei botti (speriamo che non ci sono stati parecchi feriti), dal fruscio delle ruote di qualche macchina che passa per le strade per il ritorno a casa, o da qualche voce isolata di persone che festeggiano ancora per il nuovo anno appena incominciato. Dopo i festeggiamenti tradizionali, si solito si dorme profondamente fino a tardi, il giorno di Capodanno. Quasi tutti, infatti, sono andati a dormire ad un’ora avanzata della notte, alcuni, anzi, hanno continuato a ballare o a chiacchierare fino all’alba, e perciò si è stanchi e bisognosi di riposo più lungo. Il cibo abbondante, i brindisi, le emozioni, hanno conciliato un sonno di piombo, tenace, hanno messo addosso un’indolenza dolce e sfibrata. Ci si sveglia a fatica si raccolgono lentamente le idee, i ricordi, e allora, al pensiero di ritrovarsi all’inizio di un nuovo anno della nostra vita, si avverte una gioia intensa, ma contenuta, un compiacimento sereno, un senso di forza e di calma soddisfazione. Rinnoviamo gli auguri, ma senza turbamenti come allo scoccare della mezzanotte, con un sentimento di letizia che ci fa sentire, in famiglia, tutti uniti in una intimità confortante e rasserenatrice. Mai come la mattina di Capodanno ci si lava e ci si aggiusta con tanta allegria ed impegno: è come se ci volesse eliminare dalla nostra pelle e dal nostro cuore tutto ciò che appartiene al passato e, nello stesso tempo, costruire un’immagine nuova o rinnovata, diversa, di noi stessi. La giornata, la prima dell’anno nuovo, scorre poi tranquilla, nel tepore della casa, nel calore degli affetti familiari. Il giorno prima, l’ultimo del vecchio anno, le ore volate via nel tumulto degli impegni, dei preparativi, dei sentimenti vari e contrastanti che l’occasione suggeriva. Ora, invece, si assapora il lento trascorrere del tempo, con un senso di indolenza, un desiderio di riposo, una volontà di evitare turbamenti e distrazioni inutili. Sono momenti in cui si riconfermano i propositi formulati, le speranze più intensamente accarezzate, i programmi già definiti. Una pace tranquilla regna nelle case, per le vie, fino a pomeriggio inoltrato: solo dopo essere stati a lungo insieme con i propri cari, si avverte il bisogno di vedere gente, di ritrovarsi con gli amici. E gli incontri, i saluti, gli auguri, gli abbracci, le visite, rinsaldano in ognuno l’intima persuasione che tutto andrà meglio, quest’anno, che tutti ci si vuole bene, e si è buoni, cordiali, comprensivi. Almeno un giorno, una volta all’anno, è bello, in fondo, dimenticare i guai, illudersi che tutto sarà diverso, rispetto all’anno scorso: ma è Capodanno il primo giorno dell’anno, e fa bene al cuore credere e sperare.
